Ooh, I do like the dinky Hitachi system. I used to own something similar although mine was made by Crown. It had a separate pre & power amp too ;)

not a bad sound ,but i have far too much hifi at the moment :), i have just sold my technics su-8080 amp only to buy another one a week later with an st-8080 tuner, dont know what i am going to do with it as i only have room for one system and my technics su-7700 based system isnt going anywhere:)

An embarrassment of riches eh? A very nice position to be in if I may say so. It's at times such as this that the loft comes in handy :)

my wife just sees it as clutter , but i have a few choice pieces in the loft , i have seen the price of some items quadruple in the last few year , my problem is i cant resist a bargain :eyebrows: and i love to save items that would otherwise be destined for the tip , i even did a 500 mile round trip yesterday for a box of vintage pioneer car audio,
one mans rubbish and all that.
