JVC sp-x440 speakers any good?

so as i said in my intro, i recently got myself a pioneer sa-410, but im lacking speakers.

i then spotted these and thought they look pretty decent. i know theyre JVC sp-x440's but i dont know if theyre really any good or if theyre even compatible with my amp :/. can anyone help me out?

They will be okay as starter speakers but I wouldn't pay more than £20 for them.

Not familiar with those particular KEFs but seem a good buy at that price assuming the drivers are okay. You should bear in mind that your amp is not very powerful. You could also consider these:

Also check out the classifieds on this forum you will get a lower price than eBay more often than not

There's a very nice pair of JPW's just come up in the AOS classifieds - the ad links to this ebay auction - these are bigger than the mini-monitors and difficult to know where you could go wrong for 40 quid!
