I guess my quest for a new cartridge, to replace my viciously murdered Kontrapunkt C (R.I.P) is now finally over.
Attempt to procure a new Phase Tech P3G at earthly price failed miserably.
Accountant slapped me in the face. Wife everywhere else.
Came this close (appropriate hand-gesture) to buying a mint Shelter 5000 - backfired when seller sent me pictures of....Martin's own cartridge. The very same he has posted on AOS.:doh: At least I know that one is in really mint condition.
Finally, lady luck smiled upon me and I stumbled upon a mint little Japanese bonbon, in the shape of a Transfiguration Axia. Got it at less than a third of its RRP - still can't wipe that stupid smile off my face. Should anyone be interested, could post some impressions in the form of a review whatchumagingie. Don't have THAT much to compare it with, but what the heck.
Any other AOS member familiar with said delight? You know, for double dating and such?
