That would probably depend on the price.
They can sometimes be had for a good bit under £100, in which case it's a bargain. Another member here will tell you it's a piece of shite though, because he didn't like it compared to the CR1000. But you can't get a CR1000 for less than £100!
Lovely to use and, matched carefully, it's a very competent piece of gear that can sound very good.

That would be me then :rofl: It's NOT a piece of shite, but the CR1000 was a better item, although having heard how awful a CA1000mk2 was a few years ago, the preamp section totally stamping on the rather fine power amp when it was switched to Class A, I don't know exactly how good the related CR1000 would be these days :ner:
