Well I'm not going to spend $35 to find out. An interesting concept and Ravel's 'Bolero' is a good test of PRaT, but it's not a long piece so doesn't need to suffer 'end-of-side distortion'.

Interesting for those few pieces of music which follow the claimed quiet-loud progression.

However isn't maximum loudness dictated by the spacing of the grooves from each other as opposed to being affected by linear velocity (which is lower at the centre of the record). Isn't the linear velocity effect more akin to altering the word length of a cd player, so they've actually done nothing to improve that effect?

I'm sure they'll sell some.
