Hi O ye knowledgeable one's
Is it possible to upgrade the phono cable on a 1200 MK11 ?,
the standard one look a bit cheap quality wise

Yes you can indeed do an upgrade.
You will need a precise soldering iron to complete the job, but it is pretty straight forward...

You will need to reconnect the positive and negative and their grounds to the 4 positions on the smallish PCB at the bottom of the tonearm assembly. Be careful not to apply any heat on those tiny signal tonearm cables though!
It's a 30 minutes job, plus 10 minutes to disassemble and reassemble.
Perfect for a weekend!

+2 Van damme, buy them ready terminated with phono plugs already on from the pro audio shops on ebay .
