Where is VanDamme cable made?

I was looking at VanDamme cable and there is no dealer on the west coast of the U.S.
Where is this stuff made?
I'm thinking Denmark but I have no real idea to be honest.

It's a distinctly Dutch sounding name. But as we know, these days that doesn't mean a bleeding thing does it?!

A little creative Googling though, tells me it varies depending on which cable you're talking about.

Wow! Chris, I was thinking it was some how tied in with Supra cable.
Maybe that is just there blue speaker cable, I'm pretty sure at some point I read something about that but honestly that was alot of hifi mags ago so it seems a pretty faint memory.

I hate how brands have been sold to people who make crap.
For example a chefs knife may say Wusthof or Henckle but made from recycled Chinese soup cans by 10 year olds so many knock offs,fakes and actual 2nd rate crap being made for a once great brand. So you have to look for Made in Germany ect.
Sad company's who would never put there name on crap have sold out to mass produce junk for the lowest end dollar store consumer.
It's like Rolls Royce or Ferrari making a Yugo like car in china and putting the flying lady or prancing horse on the hood and duping idiots into thinking they have bought quality.

I don't want cables made under any name in China period.

I am almost certain that they are, in fact, a British company, based in London and Lymington (Hants). Most of their cables that I've seen at least are made in the UK or EU.

That would be very comforting news,if true.
I hope they don't keep offering Chinese made stuff.
I was happy to read that Abby Road Studio was wired with VD cable pretty much exclusively.

I am thinking of trying some of there offerings but will avoid any and all Chinese wire. Thanks John

My pleasure sir. I did a quick googling around and their parent company is clled "VDC trading" - and they are most certainly British.
They do make very good quality stuff. :)

Many Hi-Fi cables are made in a huge factory in Taiwan. They manufacture most of the brands we think of as British, Japanese or US and will produce anything your heart desires.

A few years ago I did some evaluation for a couple of UK brands of incons and speaker cables, all manufactured in Taiwan. Buy sufficient quantities and they will customise a cable any which way you want.

Not saying that Van Damme is, BTW.

Yup, it could also be Belden cable, manufactured under another name. Belden are a MASSIVE US company who do all sorts of communications stuff, including cables for the professional industry.
