For sale is my remote control Copper Preamp.
This was originally made by Duncan of this parish to go with his Brass El84 Monoblocks. He has made a few and they have all been very sought after.
It uses the excellent PGA 2311 chip with micro processor control - more info here http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/pga2311.pdf
It has three pairs of phono inputs and one pair of outputs.
The case is made from 2mm Copper with Beech sides, with the Copper and Aluminium top holding the toroidal transformer.
Presented to you in a rather fetching Steam Punk style.
So what can I say about this pre other than it simply gets out of the way. Uber transparent, very clean sounding, nothing added, nothing taken away - just lets the music flow.

The very close up pictures with flash show up all of the marks in their worst possible light, in reality, the wood sides look pretty much unmarked and the copper just has the usual polishing swirls.
The pre works perfectly and is really very good for the money.
I am asking for £100 + p&p for this unusual pre.
