Hi All
Here's the start of my Lenco based project, as i don't like how people utilise this simple but excellent design TT i decided to go my own way from scratch..
Anyhoots heres the start of of it A 3mm Aluminium plate with centre bored for the bearing housing, all it requires now is the motor cutout & speed adjusting slot for the idler arm cutting in aswell as the obvious plinth mounting holes.
You can guess where im going by the attached picture of the original unit but stay tooned commrades

I can finally get a bit done tomorrow on this. Still looking for suitable set of motor mountings to replace the original sprung idea!

I'm also looking forward to seeing how this pans out. :)
I'll be interested to know what tt you will comparing it and how it sounds. I keep getting the urge to drag my Lenco's outta my loft and get 'em up and running, but previous attempts have never convinced me the Lenco sounded better than my direct drive tt. Please convince me to have another go!! :)

I had a spare hour today, where i managed to drill all the outter rim mounting holes & bearing mounting holes.. Just have a motor cutout & mounts, speed adjustment slot & one or two other little holes.. All it requires then is wet 'n' drying before finishing in Black..

Lookin' good André. Have you decided how you're going to mount the motor yet?

Ideally Anti Vibration motor mounts but for one im having trouble getting them 1/2'' diameter & secondly there is two different lengths for that motor as you know..

Will these give the motor enough freedom to move - as it needs to for the drive system to work correctly?
