I purchased this from Shuggie a few months ago to try the Cinemag's with my Dynavector before importing some from abroad to build my own. It sounded great so I went ahead and imported some. As such this one is now spare.

Lots of reviews on the web, superb value for money and a serious upgrade over the internal transformers in my EAR 834P. Asking exactly what I paid for it, £200 including P&P which I think is probably fair considering the cost new and the risk of import duty etc. Further info:

Hi James,

How would this go with a Denon DL103 cartridge?

Very nicely I would have thought. Though one would need to know the type number of the Cinemag transformers to be absolutely certain.

use one of bobs cimemag 1131 blue myself
1.20 / 1.40 ratio should be fine with a denon 103

you can borrow mine bernie , if you give me a shot on your duke

Don't own it. Took a picture years ago at a show. I have a Triumph Daytona T595 and an XJR1300 in the garage though. :) Don't know why I bother with the weather we've had for the last year!

Was just looking at this since I got the Croft Micro25. MM phono stage so if I wanted to try a DL103 I'd need a SUT.

Hi Bernie,

I haven't tried it myself, but I know there are a few people out there using the Cinemag's with a DL-103. Worth having a quick search on google to find their opinions, but I think I recall them all being favourable. I've had some interest over on hifiwigwam, so let me know asap if you're interested.

bernie cinemag and a croft phono or pre would suit a denon 103 fine
supplied a few to 103 owners recently
