Its that time of the month again, fancy trying something else with the Kefs so my little Puresound A10 is up.

Its a great little integrated, sits somewhere in-between the Audion KT88 and Decware Zen/Audionote Oto in terms of power/control and resolution. Nice balance and tight, punchy bass. A great partner with anything reasonably efficient.

Comes with original packaging (double boxed) and manual etc and is in very good condition. Looks pretty much as-new to me. Just to note, the cover/cage is not easily removable.

Power is 10wpc from two pairs of EL84's in PP and has both 8ohm and 4ohm output taps. It has two inputs.

I thought it was producing some hum, but its just my mains supply as it was fine over another A0S's house when we set it up there. FWIW I have had similar problems with other valve amps in my room as well.

Looking for a replacement, ideally a swap with something like the Marantz PM17 or similar (Sony ES or Denon etc), anything interesting that will be happy with a 4ohm resistive load also considered.
An integrated with a MM/MC input would be nice as well, overall power not critical.

Looking for £SOLD inc UK delivery.

Collection from Faringdon, Swindon.

Yeah it sold pretty quick on the Wam. Maybe I should have posted the ad this evening to give everyone a chance.

Hey no worries Rob - it sold, and at a damn good price too. Less than 1/2 new ££.

Something a little bit special about EL84's. :)

Yeah, other than the EL34 Radford STA-15, the 3 other valve amps that I love are the A10, Decware Zen and Audionote Oto, all EL84 based.

Rob, are you searching for the 'right' setup, I've noticed you're always changing gear, or do you enjoy trying new stuff all the time?

I enjoy trying new stuff, and for once in a position to be able to chop and change as I now have a perminant house rather than rented houses changing every year.

The Magnepans, and these 104/2's were both on my to do list but never had a room before that could accomodate them.

Its all a big fun magic roundabout. I will get off one day and settle down, one day.

Can appreciate that - but then when I get off the roundabout I look over my shoulder at it and think 'Wow that looks fun - I want another go on it' :D
