Does Arcam CD33 have standby function ?

I found one which does not go standby :eyebrows:
I am told by owner that CD33 does not support standby at all :doh::eek:

Rare Bird may well have this right. However with my previous Arcam CD73t although a standby function wasn't offered on the supplied remote, it was possible to put it into standby using my Logitech Harmony multi-programmable remote, so this could be worth looking into further. The power l.e.d. adjacent to the power switch on t' CD73/192 was a two state job & AFAICR was Green for Powered up & Red to denote its standby state.

I have already tried with a multi-programmable remote - all functions work except standby.
In that case a supplied remote is cr-314 with a standby function on it.
