Ecc82 or Ecc83? That is the question.

I have a Brimar valve in my spare valve box and the graphics are all but gone. Does any one know how to identify it as an Ecc82 0r Ecc83? :scratch:

Can't you just try each, '83' is high gain, the '82' is low gain.
