How many of you lot just take your records for granted, playing them without a thought of how brilliant some really are. I understand that tripe past 1973 isnt worth a second thought but the post is really aimed at folk with at least some taste

What are you on? I could give you a massive (subjective) list of great albums post 1973. By the same token I could give you a very long list of shite that was recorded Pre 1973. Your assertion is without foundation and is quite frankly a ridiculous view. I'm sure you think most of the stuff I listen to is garbage. But that's only YOUR opinion. But to say EVERYTHING recorded since 1973 is crap is exactly that - crap.

Strange outlook on life and strange views on music. Good luck with it.
