very impressive , but all done with industrial tooling including cnc cutting gear in fact better machinery than a lot of speaker manufacturers use.

Still well done that man !

I am most jealous of the space he has in which to work; I am building a pair of speakers at moment, and have to either work in the front yard, dodging showers, or in the living room with dust sheets on the floor. impressive, but honestly it'd cost more in tools than it is to buy a pair of decent speakers.
unless of course you have some very understanding friends who are already tooled up.

Stunning project, even if it turns out he built them with a B&W (detailed) design in B&W's own workshops and is an employee of B&W. I think it mentions it somewhere in his thread (ie he received assistance from B&W) Awesome skills though, he should be very proud of what he's achieved and hats off to B&W for supporting the project.

He has done a really super quality job of these speakers but...

He has copied an existing B&W design, he hasn't designed it himself (he doesn't claim otherwise) - the internal bracing and all the rest is just as B&W already do it. In fact, the sides of the real speakers are manufactured in an even better way than he does it, but with machinery he doesn't have access to (which is why he does it the way he does).

All the drive units and the crossovers (ready built) were purchased from B&W and are from the speaker he has copied.
