4-5 inch (10-12cm) pair of full range driver needed for a project.

I have a pair of Eclipse TD712MK2 speaker chassis, the inside speakers have blown and the dealer in London refuses to sell me the drivers as I purchased the system on a well known auction site.

Anyway to move things forward I will need a pair of drivers that fit a 10.5cm diameter hole in the front but must be no larger than 13cm including the driver pod. I will post some pics as my description is not so clear.

I was looking at Fostex, Mark Audio, Jordan Audio.

Does anyone have anything knocking about I can try and fit or suggest me a good contact to purchase?

The specs for the speakers are here: http://www.eclipse-td.net/products/td712zmk2/spec.html

Would like to get a set of drivers as close to the original as possible which I believe are modified fostex driver:

Speaker Unit 12cm Diameter Full-Range, Fibreglass
Frequency Response 35Hz-26kHz(-10dB)
Efficiency/Sensitivity 84dB/W・m
Input Resistance (Rating/Max) 35W/70W
Impedance 6Ω

Thanks!!

Duncan just looked up the specs and i reckon they the would fit width and depth isn't much off but will need something to fill the gap.

I would be interested could you kindly PM me what you would want for them?
thanks!:)

They are in very good condition about 4 years old and are mounted in solid Iroko cabinets.

The only reason I stopped using these was a swap to using low powered valve amps.

To hear these at their best a high powered SS is required, something along the lines of a Hypex UCD180 or 400 class D suits them very well.

From what I've gleaned the response is 55 to 16.000 hz and 35 watts rms rating, 8 ohm imp.

I'm asking £25 each prob inc postage, I say prob as they are heavy little buggers, so I'd have to check! :)

That price is a good deal below Bose RRP by the way.

Finally managed to get some MARK AUDIO ALPAIR 6P GEN2 drivers in the eclipse cabinets. Seem to be good so far but lack deeper bass but a sub will help with that. Thanks to Duncan also for supplying the CSS FR125S which I tried but not as detailed as the alpair's
