Hello All,

A friend (Rich B) introduced me to the forum... so just to say 'Hello' for now. My Hi-Fi system has been built up over many years (too many to remember), but consists of: -

Pink Triangle Anniversary turntable with what was then known as a Blue Note Bellario unipivot and Dynavector DV XX2 cartridge. Trichord Delphini phono stage

Musical Fidelity CD308 Cd and Tri-vista DAC

Musical Fidelity A1001 amplifier

Neat Ultimatum MFS speakers

Isotek Nova

Did have the Musical Fidelity X-10V3 and PSU, but sold them

All sat on a Quadraspire AV rack (one of the few that could accommodate my amp)

All inter-connected with Audioquest Cheetah and QED Profile 12 speaker cable.

Will post a photo/s later (if I can find it and figure out how to post photos) all aglow and warm.

Kim

Hello and welcome aboard Kim. I think you'll find many conversations here to suit your interests. There's a great many turntable fans on here who'll be most interested in your deck I think. The gang will be along shortly to say hello I'm sure.

Bet you can't wait to get it all set up properly again sometime soon... If you ever need it kept safe whilst on your travels I'd be more than happy to oblige:eyebrows:

Sees you sometime soon mate.

Rich

Hello Kim and welcome to AoS. The PT is a great deck - I've never heard of the arm, could you tell us a little more about it?

The Blue Note (now Black Note and now Gold Note) Bellaria.... a beautiful tonearm with a titanium arm tube. The housing, which is bell-shaped, is gold-plated over brass to provide mass at the lowest centre of gravity possible. A uni-pivot design (rather than using ball bearings) and 'wobbly'. With the 'wobbly' nature of the PT Anniversary suspension as well... it was a bit of a risk.

But what a beautiful sound even with the Roksan Corus Black and obviously even better with the Dynavector. Very free with good stop-start bass extension.

No longer made now

The Bluenote / Blacknote / Goldenote range is distributed in the UK by Adrian at Audioflair. Typical high-end Italian build quality well-worth investigating IMO. I especially liked the look of the decks and tone-arms ...

Most of the stuff I've heard from them is really good and IMO very good value for money. Their tonearms are Rega geometry, right?
