I have for sale a Teac VRDS T1 transport and Assemblage DAC-2. The transport has been modified with an Audiocom Superclock 2 and their regulated power supply. The clock's power supply is wired so that it is on if the unit is plugged into the mains, and is not dependent on the unit being switched on at the front panel.
I included Assemblage's Signature parts upgrade when I built the DAC-2 kit. I also added a few mods of my own, mainly Black Gate and Nichicon capacitors in the D/A and analogue output stages, and Analogue Devices op-amps.
Together they sound very good. I found that the optical connection gave the best sound, at least in my system, and I'll include a Belkin optical cable if the purchaser takes both units.
Carriage will be charged at cost or collection is very welcome (Hereford).
