Just wanted to share with all what a great friendly professional man Dave turned out to be . I have received the pioneer A400 amp from :-

and was absolutely gobsmacked that the amp is in mint condition as if new. no scratches at all and very nice looking. I let the amp acclimatise to the room temp. and then hooked it up. Even Stone cold it sounds an impressive amp and I can understand the cult following this amp has. I am also relieved that it seems to have good synergy with the beresford dac and the B&W 685 speakers that together give a warm, detailed , musical presence in my living room. i await hours of enjoyable music listening.
