FS Piega TP5 Speakers

i have a pair of Piega TP5 speaker, these are Swiss (beautifully) made and quite rare in the UK, there are some dealers around the UK if you look. They are very well reviewed.

They are a superb compact floor stander with a ribbon tweeter (very sweet) and two 13cm bass drivers so go nice a low even at low volume levels. They are easy placement (close to rear wall or out in a room) and can fill a very large space with sound easily and are also very delicate.

These are approx £3500 new and mine are approx 3yrs old, happy to take £1800 for them.

Only reason i may sell is that i have seen some other speaker i have always fancied owning for sale (2nd hand).

Yep, still got my S2k although the mileage I do in it is minimal due to the crappy weather, the forum is pretty quiet now too.

Anyone at £1600?

I've heard the model down from these, and was most impressed with them. They produce a VERY big sound for their size, which is nicely detailed, but not 'in yer face', with a falsely accentuated treble output, in the way of many modern loudspeakers, so I'd expect these ones to be even better!

Construction and finish are also top-notch, as one would expect of a Swiss design, so all in all, if anyone is looking for a superb pair of speakers, and fancies something different, then why not give the Piegas a go?

They certainly come with my unreserved recommendation! :)

Thanks Marco, I agree with you, these are special speakers, as i say in the thread, I'm only selling to fund buying some speakers i have always wanted. I may regret it!!

Well I ended up with a non-payer (not having much luck), so as the bidding went up to £920 I'm willing to accept that collected or plus postage.

Fabulous speakers by anyone's standards and if money wasn't so tight I would have them myself.

Like everything these days it's not a lack of interest, it's lack of the loot that's the issue :(
