Hi guys, just thought I'd introduce myself, came across the site after Googling Deltec Slink and came across this thread:

I've been tinkering with Hi-Fi since about '89, only a modest system but enjoyable all the same:
Technics SL-PG520A
Pioneer DV-600AV-K
Pioneer DV-R560HX-K
Pace Sky+
Rotel RA-971 MkII
Yamaha DSP-E800
B&W 601 S3 front
B&W LCR60 S3 centre
B&W 600 S3 rear
QED Qnect 2 interconnects and Deltec Slink (CD - Amp)
Old Toshiba 28" CRT (still going strong on RGB SCART)
Listen to all types of music but mainly rock, currently enjoying Celebration Day in DTS:)

Welcome John
Are you anywhere near where they did the Rainhill trials? 'Rocket', 'Sans Pareil', 'Novelty' etc locomotives

Hi Dave, thanks for the welcome, I've just been through Billinge on my way to Standish. I must say I prefer my 2 channel stuff to the AV kit but the whole thing just developed over the years. I use the Yamaha decoder to retain the sound from the Rotel amp in stereo, I just had to get my priorities right;)

Hi Andre, yes, I'm a short distance from Rainhill station although the original location was a little further towards Prescot I believe.
