I got a prototype balanced mains unit that MAD use to sell I think it cost about £1800 new but mine a prototype and is just in a basic wooden box.
It has a high quality transformer inside that weighs around 28kg and its not the easiest item to move so would prefer the buyer collects but I am willing to meet within a 70 miles radius and further if you help with the petrol
It comes with a very high quality Silver mains cable that has outperformed cables costing over £500
I bought this for £900 about 3 to 4 years ago and considered this an essential part of my system. It made a huge difference with CD players preamps phono-stages and amplifiers, but found not ideal with really big hungry amplifiers.
I used to have as PS Audio P500 and this is a good bit better at cleaning mains
My system has changed so much and now got to the point where I no longer really need it
I have removed the self start this gives it better sound but when initially powering up can be a bit difficult due to the load I leave it powered on all the time and since removing the self start had never had a issue with it.
I am looking for around £350
