My Gosh !! Having decorated and then set up my system without putting all the stuf back, I am amazed (or should I say alarmed) at just how bad my system sounds. Mids have gone, harshness to the sound you name it. As a result I am now hastily putting my records back on the shelves, cd racks back from upstairs, ornaments back in place, as well as look to get the tall patio curtains back from the dry cleaners and hung up - This loss of sweet sound is too much to bear

I always amuse my family by clapping my hands when I go into a new room. Even in someone else's house.

Not surprised, more alarmed at how much impact it has having experienced it for the first time, first hand ;)

Keep playing the music and hear how wonderful it sounds as you bring everything back.

Mke, Honest to God, The improvement just putting back all the vinyl on the shelves (500-600ish) has been a massive improvement, the system is singing like a good un, just as I've known it to. It will be amazing once the loaded cd racks are back in place as well as a few other bits and the patio curtains are back up - Big Smile :D (and relief lol !)

Good news
I've had that sinking feeling before.
Wonderful to have it back on song
