Yup , I think you could damage your teeth trying to get the sweetie off the stick . Weren't they made by the same company who made swizzles ?

Trebor I believe. They were just a big swizzle on a stick as I recall.

I had Matlows stuck in my head for some reason Keith. I used to work near the McCowans toffee factory in Stenhousmuir .I was a regular visitor there to pick up the 'reject ' lumps of toffee very cheaply . Great stuff .
