Tonearm Cable Under deck Hits Glass Shelf

My Yannis cable protrudes from underneath my Techie where the Carbon 5 pin din is visible from where it is inserted. As a result when I use the on the fly vta adjust and the arm raises and lowers, the cable just below the din is impeded by the glass shelf it rests on and interferes with the smoothness of the on the fly vta adjust. Any ideas how I can stop this or get around it other than cutting a hole in the glass shelf for the cable to feed through ?? :scratch:

Yes, I did think of that, but the feet will have to come a lot... No probs, will give that a try at some point (psu is away at the mo.) Cheers ;)

NO Dave I use the Origin Live rubber feet (now known commonly as Vantage feet although OL were the first I believe) on a Seismic Sink platform. I did use the Isonoe feet but preferred what I'm using now. May I suggest the type of rubber boots that our esteemed MartinT uses as I'm sure these will jack the Techy up a few mm's? I would actually say where you can get these rubber boots from but then I would be accused of shilling would I not by the sad pricks that abound elsewhere :lol:

Also consider four, cut to size requirements, granite or slate squares taking into account height adjustment needed. By gawd this hobby of ours is exciting:eyebrows:

I remember you and you rrather good sounding Arcam Delta two-box CD player, the tinny transport case being blac-tacked to a lovely slate slab you had of the same size. Improved the sound too as I remember...

Those do look good John but would have to wait a while - dont have a spare £75 at the mo after all my recent upgrades and Christmas spending. Thanks for the steer though :)
