I am a long time audiophile and DIY speaker builder.
I purchased kits from a local proprietor named I.M. Fried who lived in Gladwyne PA..
Back in 1980 is when I purchased my first speaker kit. Since then I have built many incarnations of the satellite and subwoofer models offered by I.M. Fried.
I am currently using T-line loading for the mid bass driver and subwoofers using quasi 2nd order series crossovers.
I have gone through many cd players since 1984.
The optical lasar has burned out in all my previous models.
I am currently using an Onkyo C-7030 cd player, NAD C-162 pre amp and Parasound Hca-3500 amp.
I like classic rock, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Styx, Steely Dan etc..
