Well, Christmas day went well, we had a great Christmas dinner ('cos I cooked it, can't trust the others to get it right) and the grandkids had a lot of fun, despite both still recovering from a horrible flu like bug which we've all had in the last week or two.
Now the post Christmas clearup starts here. Mountains of gift wrapping, cardboard packing, beer cans, wine bottles, various food remnants, etc., etc., to be binned. Finding places for new gifts (as if I needed more books and DVDs, etc., I did tell the family, NO!).
Not to mention clearing the lawn of 'doggy poo' this morning. How can a medium sized dog generate so much? At least he only goes at home, so I don't have to clear up after him while we're out.
And then there's the build up to New Year celebrations. I don't know about the rest of the family, but I may just put my feet up, put on some sounds, have a can of beer and take it easy on the 31st.
Anyway, happy new year all,
Geoff.
