I phone Selfridges and asked what colours they sell
Apparently they don't Selfridges

That's helpful
To the OP;
Phil, I don't think there is a Selfridges advert, certainly not in my area anyway? However, I think this may be what you are referring too - the John Lewis advert, which features Gabrielle Aplin performing a cover of The Power of Love

If this isn't it, then sorry but I can't help further.
Awesome! You know how much I love that song... Hopefully that's what Phil was referring to :)

Hopefully its the one Phil is after, as I have been scratching my head . . .

The original Frankie Goes to Hollywood issue remains the best. Awsome Trevor Horn production and great on vinyl ('Two Tribes' is stunningly well recorded too, makes a great vinyl demo record).
Indeed, Geoff. I have both on minty 12" vinyl. The sound quality on both recordings is mind-blowingly STUNNING!
Quite simply, you can't beat well-produced 12" singles, for sheer sound quality - in that respect, they knock any other music format into a cocked hat!! :exactly:
Marco.

Someone like benny goodman.
Thought you meant a Christmas TV advert, not Mr Selfridge . . .
That's Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman.

I have two tribes and it is marvellous.
Can I link to a site here? Well, google hashmoder vinyl. A guy has a blog all about vinyl and has a couple of articles on Trevor horn's productions.
Edit: sorry, I was being lazy. Here's the link http://www.hashmoder.com/2009/09/10/dynamic-12-inch-trevor-horn-part-1/

poor, to the point that i did not no it was this tune. phil.
Its a classic Phil, but the recordings vary wildly.
Glad we got there in the end :)
