Hello ... audio enthusiast, currently running Squeezebox Touch -> DAC -> Active speakers (bargain brand which I do not dare to mention but sound great).

Just applied async USB and high-res mod to the Touch which has worked out nicely, even though I am a high-res sceptic.

You'll never get away with that stunt of not telling us about your speakers(!) - we all love to hear of bargain ways of getting a good sound.

Hi Tim and welcome to AoS. The Touch is a small wonder, isn't it? The EDO (Enhanced Digital Output) is worth applying if you use an external DAC.
