Anyone else here depart from the straight and narrow road of 2 channel stereo, either using an AV receiver or at worse an all in one like an Aiwa?
I thankfully didn't go down the all in one route, but I did try and do it all via a Marantz AV amp, the SR 4200 I believe, and whilst it outshone what replaced it, the highly awarded Denon something or other, it was still no match for what got me back onto the straight and narrow in the form of another Marantz, but this time the PM 7200' which considering its budget status was a great amp, especially when correctly switched to class A.
So, what's your "back on track" tale? :)
