Brave to launch right now, and can't see any prices, but as a fan of their kit, I bet it's rather good.

Yes, very brave. My own Lyngdorf CD1 has been unused for quite a while now, since I discovered computer based audio, so for me a CD player no longer figures at all. I presume that the design represents a new look for their gear, rather similar to the Steinway Lyngdorf SP-1 (http://www.steinwaylyngdorf.com/products/sp-1-stereo-processor).

.. not only brave , but not cheap.
It's going to be nearly 2,400 euros.
Which would have been fine a few years ago, but the market is changing rapidly.

Can't help feeling they have missed a trick.
If only they had included a streamer or at least the facility to access the built in DAC.
Don't suppose they are bothered though, looks like the high end/ luxury market is doing well enough.
