View Full Version : Swap shure v15 for denon
After trying a Denon 103.
Have a good condition V15 mk2 if anyone fancies a swap.
The V15T2 is actually a very good cartridge and despite supposed measurable shortcomings, SOUNDS really good , the bass and midrange having clear definition and able to get into complex mixes well. The styli are better than the M75-ED derivative too, despite obvious similarities. It needs a low to mediumish mass arm able to securely track at a gramme though - the pre "improved" SME 3009 was fine at the time and no doubt the same now :)
It'd be interesting to see how different the 103 is, since I remember it sharing a similar even-handedness and civility I think..
