Greatly underrated deck this, especially once mounted in a pukka plinth such as Russ makes. Get belt regularly replaced and a better mat and you're away. Glad you found Linn springs work fine. I never got round to it on mine, but one spring was off (maybe deliberately) and it was nigh on impossible to get a proper bounce although the last 2mm or so is the most important..
Hello Dave,
I would agree, the TD125 can show a clean pair of heels to some very well regarded and expensive Decks.
The Linn springs seem to match the Heavy 125 perfectly, I can give the spindle a good prod with my finger, during play, with no audible or visual disturbance the the stylus/record interface.
It will also except some very heavy tonearms without fuss.
I will be sad to see it go, but I need to make space for other projects.
Steve.

Stunning piece of kit.
Thanks Nathon, it does look nice, but please! I am starting to have cold feet about the sale.
Cheers Steve.
That's utterly beautiful Steve - I very nearly bought a 125 a couple of years ago but ended up with a 150.
Russ built a plinth for my old 401 and his work is fabulous - not expensive either.
Hi , Is my asking price too high?
open to offers?

Looking at Ebay as a thermometer, 125's don't sell for £300+ without an arm.
Appreciate that yours is in a lovely plinth but that doesn't seem to have a lot of effect on the sale prices.
Dave
Well, i guess just trying to recouperate at least the biggest chunk of what i have spent on it. Given the plinth alone would cost you around 170 plus shipping, and it is a little chunkier than Russ,s ebay ones. And the deck is serviced and ready to roll.
But yep! point taken, and i am open to offers.
