Does anyone know how to remove foxing ( age-related brown spots ) from old LP covers without too much fuss? I don't want to start a month-long restoration!

You could try wiping with a paper towel dampened with a little clear antibacterial cleaner. Should reduce them but in my experience complete removal is impossible without damaging the cardboard or paper surface.
I try to buy used LPs that don't suffer from this problem as likely it's from storage in damp/cold conditions. If it isn't extremely rare and expensive buy a better copy.

Tried a couple of household cleaners with no effect - never mind, the vinyl looks rather minty so won't worry too much about the cover ... :)

I've had foxing removed from a couple of watercolours by an antique dealer. Not vastly expensive.
