I have a problem with blokes that shave daily! Why?

However real men are a different matter. Any scruffs or real grizzly blokes

Hmmm, what a strange post. Does this count as looking for a bit of rough?

Well Andre,
I always have at least a weeks growth.
Funny thing is I'm bald, don't shave much and I'm a Licensed Master Barber!
I actually learned to shave with a straight razor, brush and a mug at 17 years old.
At 22 I got an old Gillete safety Razor and used that till my wife got me a Norelco electric that seems to need new blades once a year even though I only shave once a week.

I have a very course beard,very coarse!

Well, my arse has got a right tufty mound on it - does that count?

Can't say I'm really grizzly but I don't shave every day as I have no need to.

I have not shaved for 38 years :D

Will see if I can do a decent self portrait later ( something that does not frighten all the members away )

My beard is in winter mode at the moment :)

It's over 40 years since a razor scraped over my skin. Yuk!

I liked to think I was making a "statement". But the only thing it said was that I was just bloody lazy. :eyebrows: Still am:

Sounds like a good party trick... As for beards, it'd take some to beat the Mother-in-Law's!!

I don't know - but I know a bloke who shaves his arm pits!

Anyway, back to pubic hair. I am of the opinion that one should rejoice in what the Good Lord (or Nature) provided. 'Brazilians'? - Pah!

I once went out with a girl who had jet black hair all the way down her back. None on her head, just down her back.

I'm a Licensed Master Barber!

Clippers, scissors, or a great all-rounder?

I have to keep reasonably well shaved on my fizzog for work, but now I have the goatee, I find I don't need to shave as often as I did - every two or three days is about it. As for the goatee, my eyesight is so bad now (along with the hearing) that I have to be VERY carefull shaping it. Something a great barber should be able to do, but since we don't have any here I'd trust, I do it meself.....

As for the rest of it, I'm well grey now :(

I shave when the missus prompts me ...around twice a week or more if I have to go somewhere official like the docs or the like.

Back in my youth (well early twenties), I used to go to a unisex hair "stylist" who tried to get me to have a perm. He only shut up when I threatened to walk out... No longer enough to "puff-n-fluff" anyway (Dave W and Alex collapse in laughter!), but madame won't let me shave it.... We could use your skills sir, yep, even Andr'e, who must need to trim his "ends" every so often - lucky man

Shaving is a pain in the arse. But no choice as I have to go to work (at least for a couple more years). My beard is completely grey so if I grew it I would look about ninety. What can you do?

I shave more or less every day.

I used to have a substantial beard and long hair back in the late sixties and early seventies, as was the image then (giving my age away again).

Now I have no hair and am clean shaven.

I tried a moustache a couple of of times many years back, but in my opinion, it made me look a right tit!

In my extensive experience of the matter, David Crosby has the most distressing moustache in rock 'n' roll.

It's almost enough to put any man off trying facial hair, and it's definitely a warning to all curious 15 year olds, on the need to pull off a 'manful' job on the old 'tache.

Wild Billy Childish has to be a contender in the roll call for non-rock & roll facial furniture.
