A rare Fulton Kinetic Barrier turntable mat. 5mm depth, it's a heavy and floppy mat, not sure of the material but it's slightly more compliant than the stock Technics audiophile heavy mat. Royal blue in colour.
This mat is ideal for the Technics 1200/10 because the diameter is slightly smaller than average, thus bringing the mat just inside the raised outer rim lip of the 1210's platter, this is crucial in providing a solid and flush coupling between record. mat and platter where most after-market mat's (including the Technics heavy mat) will sit on the raised lip and not flush on the platter. This mat will kill resonance in the 1200/10 platter, and bring greater solidity to the soundstage, inner details are resolved where once they were missing, and there is air and space around notes making complex passages much more intelligable.
£45 inc postage to UK.
