Anathema

Through Spotify I have come across a group from Liverpool called Anathema. Well worth a listen if you grew up with progressive music like me.

Agreed, well worth investigating.
Their *real* early stuff is thrash *death voice* metal a la Opeth, and goes back nearly 20 (?) years. Think it was based in Holland music scene (?) Recent stuff is outstanding for me, in association with Steve Wilson and Opeth who they toured with recently. They are excellent live - eceedingly tight on stage.
