The little one, he'd stick in the big guy's throat.

He'll probably stop growing in height when his bones ossify. Then he should start to add weight, so all in I reckon about 12-18 months old.

"The Wolf" btw is a Northern Inuit , fabulous dogs, loyal, non aggressive, affectionate and very clever. Show him who is boss and his desire to please is overwhelming. I would never have one on its own as they need company and of course we cannot supply this 24/7.

A Beagle on the other hand is very amiable but quite a difficult dog , stubborn, so intelligent you would think they are stupid and would win any eating contest.

Sounds a good one.
Not quite sure what my step daughter's Poodle/Cavalier cross, Cav was meant to achieve apart from a satan spawned maniac.
We had an American Beagle, Ben for 18 months at the end of his life. Nice old guy with problems that I suspect masked his character. Every now and again he would howl - "I'm here" was what I guessed he was telling us :)
