Yes indeed - another legend passed away.

Think I had better pull out and play my copy of Ravi Shankar's 'Improvisations', playing the music from Satyajit Ray's film 'Pather Panchali' as a commemoration.

My thoughts go out to Anushka and Nora,sad day.
I have the album of Ravi and Anushka playing sitar when she was in her early 20's most of the songs where just her but one song is both playing together ,much like dueling sitars.
It's up to her now to carry on his style unique to the Shankar's.
