Saw AC/DC with Bon Scott great live band in those days but Zep at their pomp outstanding 9Q7Vr3yQYWQ
Favourite rock gigs include
Diamond Head at Woolwich Odeon night after the Woolwich riots
Dream Theater at the Marquee I was at both nights
Zero Hour at Headway
ZZ Top at the Marquee playing as the little old band from Texas
Hellecasters at the Mean Fiddler

Generally I agree I prefer a small sweaty club to the big venues so much more intimate and dislikes big open rock festivals for many reasons but sometimes they can capture and intensify all those emotions of the moment

Yes, they were better at Donnington in 91 when Brian could still sing. First time I've seen them with Phil back in the seat though.

I'd been out all day on a work do and got home just as this was starting. Suffice to say I'd had a few gin n frolics and proceeded to entertain Mrs b with much middle aged moshing and air guitar antics. It sounded bloody amazing and my wee brio was belting out the watts with some conviction. Fantastic.
