Picked up for a bargain 50p in Shepherd's Bush record exchange in the 80s
So good it is in the 'Out of category' class for me (as in the Tour de France mountain categorisation)
Very little wrong with any of it.
Class rock outfit of the vocals / guitar / bass /drums genre
Starts off with the great Wild in the Street and keeps it going for side 1.
Side 2 takes it up a notch with Wild Wild Women, takes a breather for the well known Road Runner then delivers the final, wonderful 3 tracks almost joined together (ignore tracks 11-14 on the CD, they are ok but not on the same level as this original album
And then you have to play it again, and again and again
Chris Spedding's best IMO.
Others to look out for Battered Ornaments, Chris Spedding, self titled, Jack Bruce's Songs for a Tailor !
