The amp is in excellent condition and sounds wonderful especially when paired with a decent valve pre.

I have the original Sugden box and poly inners plus the warranty card and manual however the box is a bit wrecked but I will double box it for posting.

I'm looking for £400 inc postage to a UK postcode however there may be a small additional charge for those AOS members living in the far flung corners of the UK such as the Scottish Islands, NI or the CIs.

Payment by BACs preffered but I'm happy to accept PPG or a personal cheque and of course cash on pick up from Glasgow.

I'm open to sensible offers of course so please PM me for additional info or for more photos.

I'm happy to post this abroad but please get in touch for a price by PM.

The amp developed a fault about a month ago losing sound from the left channel but it's just returned from Sugden where it had to 1 X Relay and 2 x Bridge rectifiers replaced, it also had a 'full specification check and bench test'.

Cost of the repair was just under £113 and the related paperwork will be provided to the new owner.

I bought the amp about 2009 from Audio Salon in Glasgow who had taken a pair of them in part ex from the original owner who AS had originally sold the amps to in 2001.

I believe I'm the second owner and it's been well looked after and never been abused or driven hard.

I think this is a real sleeper of an amp, IMO it's a much better sounding amp than it's integrated sibling and it will drive most speakers with ease so don't let the 25 watt output put you off as those are pure class A watts.

I've owned both the integrated and the power amp and, for a time, had them bi-amping my Proacs but being completely honest that set up was pure overkill, the power amp with a pre sounded much better to me than the integrated with a much more clean detailed sound.

Personally, I thought the integrated was a wee bit muddy sounding.

Reason for selling is that I've bought a Sony TA-F6B integrated and the matching tuner the TA-A6B both of which sound amazing for their age so the Sugden has to go.

I did sell this amp last month along with a Croft micro basic pre amp but the buyer decided on a full refund on the Sugden, as it was he who discovered the amp's fault as I had boxed both of them up a couple of months previously and just assumed they were both fine when I sent them to him.

I had both this amp and the integrated for sale last year but I ended up keeping the power amp and buy a Croft pre.

Thanks for reading.
