Reel to Reel retainer? mains lead?

Hi,
Any of you good folk out there got a spare reel retainer? At least I think that is what its called. Got out my old Sony reel to reel(tc630) and one of the rubber thingies that hold on the reel is missing....
also the power cable:scratch:
I cant think of where they've gone to. Ive managed to connect bare wires to the pins on the player and tape them up to get it playing,but obviously not ideal.
The power cabe is rather like an iec but with only 2 holes and its rectangular so if anyones got bits like these lying around I would be eternally grateful:)

Sorry, no retainer.

If the mains socket is IEC shape and size but with two pins, then you can use an ordinary IEC mains lead. The spare earth connection has nothing to mate with and, therefore, does nothing.

The standard iec doesent fit as its too big,i need a smaller one,but the figure of 8 one is too small.....I may have to perhaps cut a standard one as it would be fine without the earth part,obviously if I can find a proper one it would be better

thanks for the help...but I was thinking a bit less than 17 quid....I just need one and thought perhaps someone would have one lying around doing nothing...just like some lps I have that I will be giving away soon to deserving aos:cool:ers

anyone?...I can still use it as Im now using croc clips on the mains pins and the reel stays on if the player if not upright...just been listening to an old beatles twin tack mono tape
maybe Ill post pics of the mains orifice later which may jog someones memory to shape/size etc.:)
