View Full Version : Lovely condition Thorens TD160B MkII with Rega armboard

For sale is my absolutely excellent condition, sensibly modified Thorens TD160B MkII, complete with a rather nice Rega armboard and fitted with a new belt. This is one of the nicest condition 160's I have seen.

The modifications include a heavier, thicker MDF baseboard and damping on the inside of the plinth and top plate; very worthwhile improvements.

The deck is pretty much immaculate, with only one or two very light, barely noticeable marks on the lid. The hinges are spot on and the lid holds up easily.

The motor runs silent and the suspension is straight and true with a good smooth bounce.

I also have an excellent condition Rega RB200 arm that I used and would sell with the deck if interested.

I am looking for £75 for the Thorens / armboard and £145 if you include the RB200. Will need to be collected from LU2 or HP23.

A fantastic looking and lovely sounding deck that is very easy to modify into a fantastic sounding TT.

Mike - that has got to be just about the cleanest 160 I've ever seen. :eek:

Had I not bought the Tecchy I'd have had this off you no question.

Wish mine looked this good. It's (the plinth) currently too shabby to use!

Nice prices, i think my disabled mate would have gone for that if it wernt as far, he hates the AR 'EB101' i gave him.. probably the black ash/black lid he doesnt like.
