Can anyone identify these speakers.

7771I just found this photo of our front room in the late '70s.I was trying to remember if i bought these speakers as a kit or not.The lower B139 was an ABR,and i liked the sound of them.I sold them as we were moving to a smaller house.It is annoying that i can't recall what they were and how i came by them. :mental:

For me, they look like KEFs or IMFs... Love the old Shell petrol pump sign - quality! :respect:

Can't find any mention of the speakers in the Kef history site,i can only think maybe they were a kit by Heathkit or suchlike.

No ,unfortunatly i was always to poor(tight) for IMF's.Would have got some if i had the cash.

I think Heathkit did use KEF drivers in some of their designs and I'm fairly sure I saw some huge Bush Arena speakers using KEF units too, many years ago.

Great,that's the fellows,thanks for that.I have been trying to find out for ages.Could have sworn i put them together all those years ago, my wife didn't agree, she was wrong,:lol:.

I have Heathkit Ambassadors (at Royce Rolls Cafe in Bristol's Corn Exchange Market, - sitting on top of the Fridges!!) but they have a 12 inch bass unit.

I've replaced (literally) hundreds of expensive cartridges for customers over the years, which have been damaged by over zealous dusting..:doh:
