Al - I saw those a week or two ago, and I actually woke up in the middle of the night disturbed by the memory of them - quite seriously! They are some of the most repulsive looking speakers ever! (Edit: Actually, it is the stands, as Frank says, not much wrong with the speakers themselves.)

They would have to be the best sounding speakers ever and by some margine for me to give them house room. :( Yes, I'm shallow! :lol:

They are "a thing of great beauty" according to the blurb, so it must be you :ner:

The speakers themselves look fine to me, but it's them godawful stands that are the eyesore :vomfest:

No, but if you go for the full 5.1 set up, they double as a stylish but mind numbingly difficult puzzle.

You're all missing the point!

They are designed to go either side of your armchair just in front of your ears. The cut-outs clear the arms and sides of the chair, allowing you to use them as big headphones. Simple.

Gents I heard these at the Bristol show 3 or 4 years ago on the end of a full Cyrus set up. They were truely terrible, the wive listened for 5 seconds and said "whats the point, they sound horrible" and she didn't know if they cost £200 or £16K
