Hi people, I'm Mark :)
Damn it's so good to be back on line you wouldn't believe it ;)
To cut a long story short my laptop died (probably the graphics card) & I had loaned my other laptop to a friend that lives 40 miles away. I have no car & only see him when I get a lift with another friend....
So I have had my arms & legs cut of for what must be a month
You don't want to know what kit I have got :eyebrows: I listen to very odd music indeed :rfl:
Now I have to deal with 679 emails, so I think I'm going to be a bit busy  I also need to purchase at least one other laptop....
I'm buggered if I'm going to be in this situation ever again :steam:
Good to be back all, I hope you are all keeping well
Nice to have you back Mark, I have 5 computers here and a tablet, so no chance of me ever getting cut off!

Good to have you back, Mark. Now pop over to eBay and buy yourself a backup PC for the pennies it'll cost you, pronto!

:rfl: Yes I'd have loved to be able to email anyone Alex :eyebrows:
As for calling people, well I think I may well have left certain PMs with phone numbers online, so I couldn't ring anyone either
Thankfully Marco gave me a call & I was able to explain to him what the problem was.
He suggested I might want to post on a newish thread about how dependent we are on modern technology...
He isn't kidding :mental:
I have never in my life felt as if I was as powerless as this!
Incredible, it won't happen again ;)
Oh, many thanks for the warm welcome back everyone :)
Rearrange this well known phrase or saying...

...he could borrow one of Marco's spares, I think he just did an upgrade :D

Ooooh, you are aweful, but I like you! :eyebrows:
Alex, I don't do mobile phones as I'm not very mobile :rfl:
I'm always at home unless I'm out food shopping or at the quacks ;)
But I tell you what, I'll make sure I note down peoples phone numbers on some paper in future, short of a fire I reckon that'll do the job :D
All the best buddy :)
Wow, Mark and Mike both back in the same week. Did you both disappear together?:eyebrows:
Seriously dude welcome back, I've been missing some your tune recommendations and always fascinating modification posts.
All the best.
Rich

:) Cheers Barry, I also have well over 600 emails to go through.
While that may be a pain in the posterior, you just cannot imagine how nice a pain it is :eyebrows:
I have never in my life felt quite so impotent as I have done without a working computer
As I have already mentioned, I'll not allow this to happen again.
All the best to you!
