View Full Version : Yamaha CR2020
Late 1970's receiver, list was £550 new. This was working when I last used it. Illumination on the displays does not work. MUST GO THIS WEEKEND, BUYER COLLECTS, EASTLEIGH, HANTS, £25 :)
, BUYER COLLECTS, £25 :)
Not going to be that easy to collect from Brigadoon. Doesn't it only appear once every hundred years...?
That's true, might end up going to the tip!
Boxed with instructions.
105 wpc, good in it's day.

You can't bin it - that would be a crime. I'd have it if you weren't miles away.
Having a clear out, I will never need it again, I have three systems already!
My Dad bought this new at the time. :)
The wood case on mine is flush with the front panel, makes it look sleeker.

If it's boxed why not post it!

Uploading pictures on forums proves to be very difficult for me. :eyebrows:

I wanted to get rid of it today, having a clear out. Two CD players and a rack to go to the bootie tomorrow.

Too be honest I have absolutely no use for it, I did use it in a study system after my Dad gave it to me. I'm a hoarder, I've got to tidy up! :(

A bit confused - has it got a new owner yet or not?
If not, I'd love to have it - my 1020 would be pleased as punch to have one of it's cousins coming to stay in the house!

Why the confusion? Have I missed something?:)

Well, for a few posts it looked like it was turning into an auction of sorts. Sorry, I somehow didn't see the one where it became clear a deal had been done.
Thanks Nigel (vinylspinner), he took the lot, Yamaha CR2020, 2 Mission PCM7000 CDP's and a rack. The wife will be happy :)

Yes, very pleased :D
Nice to meet you today Kev and thanks for the great deal on the kit, the receiver is sounding great, playing Kate Bush - the director's cut as I type this, second system now sorted.
Nigel
I'm glad it's all up and running. :carrot:
