Excellent news! Good to see you back Mike, hope everything is "sorted" so to speak and a bit of normality will return - a bit of normality here as usual, well, as normal as we've ever been! Hope you've been collecting up cheap hifi... :)

WELL
During the begining of the summer months i was sort of selected as the best candidate in the family to move in with my 86 year old grandfather as he wasn't coping at all well with day to day stuff like cooking etc and he was getting a bit lonely, anyway i came round to the idea since i was spending more and more time over his house helping out and keeping him company.

I moved in july and it's taken up until now to get properly sorted with broadband etc. the downside is that my home cinema set up is in bits in the attic, however my cheap as chips setup is rockin away in my new listening room:) and due to the shape of the room it sounds better than it's ever done.

Hi Mike,

Kept wondering if you'd snuffed it. And wouldn't have the chance to thank you for your piece on your Castle's cabinet restoration. Very informative. Thanks.

Glad you haven't snuffed it.

Nice to hear from you again Mike! I've still got your record cleaner and you're welcome round anytime to hear my new bits of kit.

All the best

Good to see you're back with us Mike. Your absence hadn't gone un-noticed.

Glad to hear it was not due to personal ill health. :)

AoS rumbles on in its own inimitable fashion; nothing major to mention. But you are going to have an enormous amount of posts to read (or ignore!)

Welcome back.
