It's a great big post-ironic joke that normal people see right through, but they will probably take money from the gullible/stupid/impressionable (and rich, obviously). Given that any perceived improvement would be entirely subjective (Belt-ist?), and is 'marketed' as such, the punter would likely be a happy bunny anyway and machinadynamica covered under trade description. At least enough to take the chance anyway...
